Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho has been criticised in recent weeks for his negative football in the 0-0 draw at Liverpool and the 1-0 win against Tottenham.
But Martial has no doubts United will be going for all three points against the champions tomorrow.
“They [Chelsea] haven’t started as well as they did last year, but Chelsea is a big team and they’ll certainly try to beat us,” he told the club’s website.
“Both clubs are really great teams so it’ll certainly be a difficult match, but the most important thing is that we try to come away with a victory at the end of the day.”
United are looking to keep the pace with rivals Manchester City who are five points clear at the top of the Premier League table.

Man Utd ace Anthony Martial
Chelsea are back in fourth, four points behind the Red Devils.
Martial has been impressive this season but has had to be patient for opportunities with Marcus Rashford also at the top of his game.
The France international has just been named United’s October Player of the Month to follow up on his September award.
Martial has netted six goals and provided six assists to his team-mates in all competitions so far this season.
He added: “I think when I come on to the pitch as a sub, I’m hungry, desperate to play.
“I want to get some action, to score, to make some key passes, I want to give everything I can to help the team.”
After facing Chelsea, United will pause for an international break.
