Man Utd News: Embalo deal agreed claim, Pogba hails Martial, Mourinho to PSG backed

Manchester United and Benfica have reached an agreement over a deal for Umaro Embalo.

According to Portuguese newspaper Record, the 16-year-old will leave Benfica to join up with United’s academy.

Embalo has been tracked by the Red Devils for some time with United reportedly seeing a £4m bid turned down in the summer.

While no figure has been disclosed over the agreed deal between United and Benfica, it appears Mourinho has got the teenage sensation.

United superstar Paul Pogba has lavished praise on his French compatriot Anthony Martial.

He said: “Anthony is a big, big, big talent.

“He’s a talented player – one of the best players I have ever seen or trained with.

“He is still young and is going to improve. He will improve a lot and you are going to see even more of Anthony, I’m sure.”

France head coach Didier Deschamps could see United boss Jose Mourinho head to Paris St-Germain in the near future.

Mourinho has been linked with the big-spending French giants ever since admitting in an interview that ‘something special’ in happening in Paris.

And Deschamps believes: “PSG is the most stand-out team in France, they are doing well nationally and in the Champions League.

“He [Mourinho] is pretty happy at Man United at the moment – but why not? He’s a bit of a globe-trotter and he hasn’t been to France yet.”
