Mourinho is apparently scouting for possible signings at international matches.
The former Chelsea gaffer was at Croatia’s game against Ukraine last season to watch Perisic.
And he could see the winger in action again this week as his country take on Greece.
Mesut Ozil, also linked with United, is set to line up for Germany against England on Friday night.
United, meanwhile, will be looking to bounce back from their defeat to Chelsea when they return to Premier League duty next week.
Mourinho and co. play host to Rafa Benitez’s Newcastle United on Saturday November 18.
