Jose Mourinho wants three world stars to join Old Trafford at the end of the season if he is to continue in his job.
The stunning claims coming out of Spain suggest the Special One’s relationship with club chiefs is tense following his comments about Paris St-Germain.
Don Balon say Mourinho wants Mats Hummels, Marco Verratti and Gareth Bale next summer to strengthen even further.
The former Chelsea and Real Madrid boss also expects contract negotiations to speed up over his future, according to the reports.
United have improved this season but Mourinho still wants reinforcements to take his side to the next level.
“I have no idea. Honestly. I am not in control of his recovery process”
Man Utd boss Jose Mourinho on Paul Pogba
Mourinho has admitted he has no idea when Paul Pogba will be back from injury.
The Special One said: “I have no idea. Honestly. I am not in control of his recovery process. He is not training with me.
“He is on individual work and when a player is on individual work I cannot predict.
“I would expect Marcos Rojo to return after the international break because he is training with me. But with Paul I have no idea.”
Eric Bailly has praised Anthony Martial for his positive attitude even when he is not in the starting line-up for Manchester United.
“I think we have a lot of very good players in the squad,” he said.
“When one does not play, the others do. The good thing about Anthony is that he is always here to help the team whenever he is needed and he showed that today.
“When Rashford plays, Anthony always has that mentality where he is ready to come on and have an impact – which he did by winning the match.
“Anthony, mentally, is strong and he showed that today. He is happy and whenever he has a chance he takes it as we saw today.”
