Manchester United Midfielder Completes La Liga Switch

Manchester United midfielder Andreas Pereira has completed a transfer to La Liga, despite having impressed during the club’s pre-season.

The 21-year-old has completed a season long loan deal to Valencia, which will represent his second season in-a-row plying his trade in the Spanish top tier, having starred on loan for Granada last season.

The speedster made 35 appearances for the La Liga minnows last year and scored five goals in the process, with Valencia taking notice of his seamless transition to life in top level football.


Jose Mourinho appeared to be very keen on the youngster, giving him plenty of opportunity to shine during their tour of the US, however does not believe that the player is ready to play a key role in his squad this season.

The Spanish transfer window did not slam shut until Thursday at midnight and the clubs were able to come to an agreement just minutes before the window slammed shut.

The move contradicts quotes from the Belgian earlier in the summer who appeared more than happy to stay and fight for his place at Old Trafford.
