Luke Shaw and Jose Mourinho are no longer on speaking terms at Manchester United, according to reports.
The 22-year-old has barely featured for United this season, playing just 45 minutes against Burton Albion in the Carabao Cup in September, while on Tuesday evening he was given just three minutes to impress against Swansea City after coming on as a late substitute.
The Times now reports that Shaw is frustrated with his limited playing time and is no longer speaking with the United manager.
The report also claims that United have triggered an extension clause in Shaw’s contract, meaning that he is tied to the club until the summer of 2019.
Despite receiving limited chances under Mourinho, The Times claims that Shaw will not push to leave United on loan in the January transfer window.
Tottenham were linked with a move for Shaw in the summer, with Danny Rose potentially heading in the opposite direction.
Shaw was signed for around £30 million from Southampton in 2014 but has struggled with injuries during his time at Old Trafford.
